We welcome your interest in TAS. If you would like to be considered for a position at TAS, please complete TAS Professional Application Form (PDF Fillable File) and submit a letter of interest to Human Resources. Your application will be reviewed carefully and placed in our applicant data file for consideration for suitable positions.

TAS recruits year-round. The Head of School and other administrators typically attend the Carney & Sandoe Associates, Search Associates and ISS recruiting fairs in Bangkok, Cambridge, and Boston. Applications from qualified teachers are accepted at any time, but off-island applications are best made between September and December. 

Please note that during the application process you will be asked to complete and submit the following documents:

  • Your own CV/resume
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • College transcripts and copies of administrative and or teaching certificates (if relevant to position)

Safe Recruiting Practices 

Taipei American School is committed to protecting the wellbeing of our students as well as members of this school community. TAS has a robust system in place for conducting pre-employment screening and background checks. As part of our hiring and employment requirements, all employees are required to provide information ​through a background/criminal record screening and past employment verification prior to their commencement of initial contract at TAS. The scope of the background check includes all locations and countries where the new employee has ever resided for more than 3 months​, including but not limited to​, his/her passport home country and current residing country. Renewal ​background checks​, currently administered every three years, ​are also required for ​all returning employees.
