Athletic Facilities Assistant
Job Summary:
Manage, oversee and set up equipment and facility to make sure all events and parent’s bookings can start on time and run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check facilities (including but not limited to gyms, fields and tennis courts before the PE classes start, make marking lines on turf and upper field, inventory check, etc) to ensure the facility is set up and restored according to instructional and extra-curricular needs.
- Manage, oversee, set up equipment and facilities, and stand by during the event to ensure facility and equipment needs are met.
- Check for need for maintenance to ensure the equipment and facility are in good condition.
- Follow the parent and faculty rental management requirement, perform each task as stated in the facilities department SOPs and ensure issues and problems are addressed in a timely manner to the supervisors for resolution and follow up.
- Follow the instructions of each service order, complete the tasks per the assigned timeline and agreed requirement, and ensure issues and problems are addressed in a timely manner to the supervisors for resolution and follow up.
- Follow the facilities department SOPs and agreed operational standards to ensure all events and parent’s bookings can start on time and run smoothly.
- Serves on the search team during school declared emergencies, e.g. fire drill, to ensure safety of all in school.
- Work with PE and Athletics teams to provide timely support to meet athletic events requirements and PE schedules.
- Other duties assigned by the supervisors.
Selection criteria:
- College diploma, major in physical education related preferred; experience in sports or fitness related field
- Basic English. Mandarin fluency
- Knowledge of sports rules and regulations, sports/activities need in terms of facility and equipment
- Knowledge of dimensions & inventory check
- Effective time management, communication and organizing skills
- Computer skill in MS Office
- Able to life and carry 25kg
- Must be willing to work flexible hours on weekdays and weekends in order to meet TAS athletic events and PE schedule
10-month position every school year
Work Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday
13:00PM to 22:00PM

Aquatics Assistant
Job Summary:
Aquatics Assistant reports to the Aquatics Director and will be responsible for helping to maintain a high-quality and safe K-12 curricular and co-curricular aquatics program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Lower, Middle and Upper School Aquatics Physical Education classes as required.
- Independently teach Lower School learn-to-swim groups, of varying ability levels.
- Independently teach Middle School learn-to-swim groups as required.
- Coordinate with the Aquatics Faculty in the planning and implementation of PE aquatics classes.
- Perform appropriate duties as a pool lifeguard when required.
- Coach in the year-round, and seasonal, Swimming Team programs.
- Coordinate with fellow Swim Coaches in the planning and implementation of swim team practice sessions.
- Assist with swim meet planning, student enrollment, set up and operations as required.
- Assist with the maintenance and organization of the pool facility and associated equipment.
Key Competencies and essential selection criteria:
- College degree or above – major in physical education would be preferred
- Appropriate Swimming teaching and coaching certification, with experience
- Valid lifeguard certification
- Knowledge of the sport of swimming in terms of skills, rules, facility requirements and operations
- English and Mandarin fluency
- Ability to teach, coach and work independently, using sound judgement, as required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Flexible working hours – be available for aquatics activities that take place outside of regular school hours
10-month position per school year
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
07:30 to 16:00 inclusive 0.5 hour lunch break (flexible at times per operational requirement)

Food Handler- Snack Bar (Part-Time)
Job Summary:
Prepare food and serve snack bar customers to ensure snack bar operation runs smoothly.

準備並適時補貨以確保餐廳部小吃部飲料食材充足 - Help morning shift employees with setting up for opening.
協助餐廳部早班人員之開店準備 - Assist with cleaning designated areas.
協助指派區域之衛生及清潔整理 - Assist with kitchen prep work when necessary.
適時提供支援餐廳部之準備工作
Qualifications:
- At least one years of restaurant experience; High School Graduate
具備一年以上之餐飲工作經驗;高中職畢 - Intermediate level of English. Mandarin fluency
流利中文,並具備中級英語能力 - Communication and time management skills
具備顧客溝通及時間管理能力 - Knowledge and concept of sanitation
具備餐飲衛生之相關知識 - Friendly, patient and have a good rapport with customers
態度和善並能與顧客保持良好互動 - Hardworking, flexible, fast and accurate in completing designated work
能準確有效地完成指派之工作項目及內容 - Attention to detail, especially food quality and sanitation
細心並能謹慎以確保食物品質及整體衛生
10-month position every school year
Work schedule: 06:00 AM to 12:30 PM, inclusive 0.5 hour lunch break

Food Handler (Part-Time)
Job Summary:
Assist with serving line meal prep work and prepare certain snack bar items.
