This past weekend, more than twenty alumni from the Classes of 1975 to 2021 attended the virtual Winter Mentoring Happy Hour, organized by the TAS Alumni Office.

Alumni signed up to participate in three one-on-one or one-on-two breakout sessions with other alumni. One participant said they attended the event to “get a more solid grasp on finding proper internships and solidifying my career path.”

Another said they wanted to “mentor and empower my fellow TAS alumni as well as bond with the TAS family. 

Attendees from both sides of the Pacific Ocean and even one in Europe enjoyed meeting each other and getting career advancement advice.

One attendee said that they enjoyed “connecting with others and helping answer questions that young alumni had.” Another reflected that, “It was a really casual conversation with really cool people! Not only did I get to meet some fellow familiar faces from my time at TAS, but the mentors were also all extremely friendly and happy to give unique, straightforward answers to all of my questions.”
