Lower School Camp Taiwan
Lower School Camp Taiwan

Plans are well underway for upcoming camping trips to Camp Taiwan for Grades 2-4. These trips are an important part of the lower school experience and all students are expected to attend.

An optional, informational meeting for interested parents will be Tuesday, April 9 at 2:50 PM in the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room near the cafeteria). Camp director Mike Brennand will make a short presentation and answer any questions you have about camp.

Camp Taiwan is in located in Daping, Wanli, Taipei County. A small community on the "backside" of Yangmingshan National Park, Daping is in the foothills between Jinshan and Wanli on the north coast of Taiwan. The setting offers beautiful views and is the perfect setting for camp.

TAS has enjoyed a 14-year connection to Camp Taiwan. It has become a very popular destination for schools and business groups across the island and the facility is clean, safe, and comfortable. Grade 4 students attend a three-day, two-night camp in April; Grade 3 students will attend a two-day, one-night camp in May; and, Grade 2 will attend a day camp in May. Because of well-designed structures, camping continues in rain or shine.
