Bio: Ms. Elizabeth Wang

Elizabeth was born and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan and graduated from Taipei American School in 1991. She received her bachelor’s degree in Finance from Boston College. After college, she spent nearly 10 years working in China then proceeded to receive her MBA in Human Resource Management from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan.

Since 2001, Elizabeth has had extensive working experience in the board of listed companies in Taiwan and Hong Kong, focusing in the areas of financial planning, corporate governance, and investor relations. She is also an active member in the Seed Talent Program sponsored by the Taiwan Institute of Directors, mentoring college and graduate students to better prepare them for the challenges in the business world.

Elizabeth and her husband, David (class of ’92), have three children. Nicholas is in Grade 3 and Christopher is in Grade 1. Anthony, their youngest child, plans to join his brothers in the near future.

Coming from a family with three generations of TAS Tigers, Elizabeth is excited to be a member of the TAS Board. She hopes to work together with the other board members to continue to promote TAS as a top ranking school in academic excellence, while putting equal emphasis on student character development and wellness.
