How Does TAS Recruit its Educators?
Applications from qualified teachers are accepted at any time, but off-island applications are best submitted between September and December. At TAS, as in many other independent schools, recruiting begins early in the school year. Teacher candidates may apply through the TAS online recruiting platform, where current openings are posted. Personal interviews are required, and preference is given to candidates with strong academic background in the subject, significant experience in the field, valid teaching certification for the position to which they are applying. In line with TAS’ safe recruiting practices, reference checks and comprehensive background checks are also required.
