Success in the world today entails acquiring the technological tools and concepts that are important to living and working in The Age of Information. The primary aim of the TAS IT program is to facilitate and enhance learning and teaching by preparing students for the technological challenges of a modern, globalized world. Assuring that our students obtain the latest skills and competencies are therefore a critical part of the TAS mission. Infusing IT fluency with ethical responsibility is an essential school goal that develops digital citizenship. Using IT appropriately may sometimes imply ethical choices and, for this reason, the School’s Responsible Use Policy Guidelines are embedded within the TAS values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, Kindness and Courage.
