Middle School Curriculum Posts

The goal of this course is to leverage the engineering design process to make a positive difference within the school community. Students adopt a project and work with a client within our school. Once the client’s need is understood, students evaluate several possible approaches and create a proposal for their client.  When the proposal is approved, the students fabricate their design.  Students become familiar with various tools within the Tech Cube throughout this process.  This course is designed for the student who loves to combine problem solving, design thinking, digital design and hands on fabrication.  The projects worked on in this class will push these skills to the next level and ultimately make a permanent difference to the community of TAS.
