Middle School Curriculum Posts

Design the Difference challenges students to use the engineering design process to create meaningful solutions that positively impact the TAS community. Working with a real client within the school, students identify needs through research, communication, and observation before evaluating ideas, developing proposals, and fabricating their designs using a range of tools, materials, and digital design technologies within the Tech Cube. The course emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and hands-on problem solving as students refine ideas through testing and feedback, developing resilience and systems-based thinking while creating purposeful projects that contribute lasting value to the school community.
