Integrated Math 6:  

At Taipei American School, we are committed to providing all students with access to engaging, context-rich problem-solving experiences in mathematics. In our integrated Math 6 course, each day typically begins with a collaborative problem-solving activity that introduces the day's lesson. Independent practice is tailored to meet diverse learning needs: students requiring reinforcement focus on building procedural fluency, while others engage in advanced problem-solving tasks that integrate concepts from multiple mathematical domains.

The curriculum encompasses a range of topics, including number theory, order of operations, operations with fractions and decimals, integer operations, ratios, algebraic reasoning, and geometric reasoning. Our problem-based approach to learning ensures that students develop a robust understanding of mathematical concepts and are well-prepared for future academic challenges.
