Learn more about our Grade 7 robotics course

Mechanical designs that interact with their environment through sensors are very much a part of our everyday world. Following the process of design, Grade 7 robotics introduces students to fabricating simple robots from aluminum using VEX edr componentry. Students will use a graphical coding application based on C++ to develop logical thinking using thresholds and response behaviors. The course is made up of investigative challenges that develop both mechanical engineering and coding skills. This Grade 7 robotics course is suitable for anyone with an interest in mechanical engineering and/or programming. It is supportive for students with entry level experience while extending for those who have prior learning in this subject.
