The Middle School Physical Education and Health program at Taipei American School develops students’ physical and health literacy by building the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to lead healthy, active lives. Through purposeful movement experiences and health education, students strengthen motor skills, develop an understanding of movement and fitness, and cultivate lifelong engagement in physical activity. The program also emphasizes informed decision-making, personal responsibility, and the development of healthy habits that support physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. By fostering positive relationships, self-awareness, and resilience, our integrated PE and Health curriculum empowers students to thrive as confident, balanced individuals in a rapidly changing world.
