See an overview of our Middle School Robotics program

Our robotics program is structured to create a framework to develop capable, adaptable problem solvers through sustained engagement in the engineering design process. Across Grades 6–8, students identify problems, generate solutions, and design, build, test, and refine robotic systems. The program emphasizes mechanical engineering, system integration, and both visual and text-based programming, helping students understand how hardware, software, and structure function together.
Key to the program is the purposeful cultivation of success-oriented mindsets and practices. Students build resilience through iteration-based testing and modification, learning to interpret failure and unexpected outcomes as improvement tools. They develop systems-based thinking by analyzing how components interact and collaborating to challenge, strengthen, and refine ideas into effective solutions.
