Middle School Curriculum Posts

The Middle School Social Sciences Department is dedicated to helping students understand the world and their place in it. Through courses that value student choice and meaningful, project-based work, we encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independent ideas. Our communication classes help students develop confidence in speaking, writing, and listening, so they learn how to express their perspectives with clarity and purpose. By exploring real-world questions and sharing their voices, students build the skills they need to engage thoughtfully with others and contribute to their communities. All grade seven students participate in our foundational course Communicating in the Modern World.
