Our Upper School Curriculum Guide

Whether students opt for dynamic and engaging courses designed by educators at TAS, Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, or the full IB Diploma, virtually hundreds of course combinations are possible when crafting a four-year academic experience.

The Upper School uses block scheduling that accommodates a daily FLEX period: time during which virtually all teachers are available to meet one-on-one with students, and when students meet in advisory groups, grab a bite to eat, attend class gatherings and club meetings hosted by student leaders, and more! Students’ schedules alternate on an A/B day rotation, helping them maximize time spent in each class, each day.

You can search through the incredible array of courses available in the Upper School below, and flip through our Course Catalog for more details about credits, creating your schedule, homework guidelines, and more.
