Dear Students and Parents,

 

Thanks for reading this month's edition of our newsletter. To be clear, while we hope that all members of our community will read this document, we do expect that all upper school students read the sections relevant to them. The college process requires vigilance in self-education, and this is one way in which to stay atop of the constantly changing landscape. 

Please be aware that all past newsletters can be found on our Social Media Mash-Up page, an aggregation of all of our various outlets: our blog, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. If you are on any of these platforms, please follow and engage with us! In particular, be aware of our daily Facebook posts, helpful for students and parents alike!

 

 Here are some important items for everyone:

• Be sure to understand your obligations surrounding depositing.
• And it is essential that you do not double deposit!

• Reminder: Mark your calendars! Cupcake Day is May 3. All seniors must come to College Counseling to notify us of their college decisions, complete a survey, and enjoy a delicious cupcake!

• Get ready for the Faculty College Fair!
• Reminder: Keep working with your college counselor on your individual progress! Is your next meeting scheduled? If not, get on Calendly! 15 minutes per night of homework on research.
• Reminder: Mark your calendars for a Grade 11 Student & Parent program on the evening of Thursday, April 4.

• Parents: Join us for an evening presentation on College Counseling for parents of Grades 8-10 at 7 PM on Monday, March 4 in the Auditorium!

• Do you know what your one job in high school is?
• Mr. Neill presented to the MS parents last month, although the advice works well for freshman and sophomores and their parents. 
• Parents: Join us for an evening presentation on College Counseling for parents of Grades 8-10 at 7 PM on Monday, March 4 in the Auditorium!
