Dear TAS Parents,
I wrote to you all earlier this week to describe the changes in our campus access procedures and specifically about the establishment of fever screening stations at various entrances. Our strategy is to identify anyone with a fever and to not allow that person on campus to minimize the risk of further contamination and spreading of viruses. Here is a link to my earlier email to support your understanding of how we are managing campus access procedures: https://www.tas.edu.tw/cf_enotify/view.cfm?n=4384.
In addition to the fever screening stations that will be set up in various entryways and buses, TAS is implementing the following operational procedures which follow the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines:
The procedures described above will help us do our best to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, but perhaps the best and most effective way to prevent the spreading of the virus is for students and community members who are exhibiting any signs of illness to not come to school until he or she is fully recovered.
