Dear Upper School Students and Parents,
We hope this message finds everyone well and that the first few days of online learning have gone smoothly.
This is an interesting time for our community, but one we are confident will find us more resilient when finished.
Even though school is not physically in session, please remember that students still have support available to them from counselors, teachers, administrators, and the IT Department. If you find that you need social, emotional, and/or academic support during this time, the Academic and Personal Counselors are always available to support you. You may contact the Academic and Personal Counselors by e-mail, and/or Google Hangout.
The Academic and Personal Counselors will be checking in with students to see how they are progressing with their online learning. If things are not going well with your online learning experience, please provide your counselor with this feedback so that we may best support you.
And, speaking of support, during this emergency school closure, remember that one of the best ways to support yourself is by maintaining a routine, which includes getting plenty of sleep and going to bed at a consistent time. Make sure to complete schoolwork at a consistent time but also to take breaks from schoolwork and engage in activities beyond schoolwork. Having a routine is a good thing. It can help maintain balance so that when it is time to resume school, your transition will be a smooth one.
Take care, Upper School Academic and Personal Counselors
