Dear Upper School Parents,
It has certainly been an exciting adventure over the past three weeks. Yesterday, I sent home a short video to Upper School students to tell them how proud I am of our learning community for the way they have embraced virtual learning. If you have two minutes you can watch the video here. It has been inspirational to observe the learning that has taken place, for both students and teachers alike.
We are all excited to have school resume in-person on Tuesday, February 25. As we move forward with the school year, we will make some changes to the schedule to recapture three instructional days as well as add extra time for students to meet with teachers.
Please be aware that we will also need to adjust the schedule for our course signup process. There will be no course selection meetings on February 26 or 27. We will communicate new dates for all course selection meetings once we have the students back at school. Thankfully, we still have plenty of time this year to hold these important meetings.
Finally, our goal is to provide a safe campus for your children's learning. You will read in the linked message below from Mr. Larry Kraut important information about safety procedures that will be in place when our campus reopens on Tuesday. We will share this information with all Upper School students as well before they come back to school and place strategic reminders around campus to exercise good hygiene practices.
As we wrap up our virtual learning period, please enjoy your final few days of extra time with your children. We are excited to have them back with us on Tuesday!
