2025 TAS Fall Fair Brings the Community Together for a Day of Food, Fun, and School Spirit

2025 TAS Fall Fair Brings the Community Together for a Day of Food, Fun, and School Spirit

On Saturday, November 15, Taipei American School welcomed families, friends, alumni, and neighbors to campus for the 2025 Fall Fair. What unfolded was one of our most joyful community traditions: a full day of food, games, performances, and celebration. From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the campus buzzed as students and families explored a festival showcasing the diversity, creativity, and school spirit that define TAS.

A Global Food Experience with Local Heart

This year’s food offerings once again reminded us why the Fall Fair has become a beloved highlight of the school year. Thanks to the PTA’s thoughtful coordination with local restaurants and parent groups, guests enjoyed an impressive lineup of culinary favorites from BEN Teppanyaki, KANPAI, Sugar Pea, Chili’s, Mighty Quinn, sheep+pony, Texas Roadhouse, and many more. Families wandered the fair with plates of wagyu curry, scallop fried rice, American BBQ, tacos, croissants, donuts, smoothies, and artisan coffee.

International Parent Association booths added even more to the experience. Visitors sampled Japanese Takoyaki, Taiwanese sticky rice, Korean favorites, Hong Kong specialties, New Zealand treats, and creative vegetarian dishes. The collaboration between the PTA and these parent groups enabled an authentic, global food experience that truly reflects the cultural richness of the TAS community.

Games, Activities, and Student-Led Fun

From the moment the gates opened, fair-goers of all ages jumped into activities that encouraged play, teamwork, and friendly competition. With the PTA’s behind-the-scenes support keeping everything running smoothly, families lined up for baseball and basketball challenges, mini golf, tennis, iSki, and laser tag. Younger children could be found laughing their way through the colorful inflatable castles that have become a Fall Fair staple.

More than 20 student clubs added their own spirit and creativity to the day. Groups such as the Art Honors Society, Orphanage Club, CLAW, UNICEF, Tri-M, and the Board Game Club hosted activities, shared their missions, and connected with visitors. Each booth reflected the leadership and passion of our students, supported by the PTA’s coordination and guidance.

Performances and Community Showcases

Throughout the day, music and movement filled the air as student performers took the stage. Choirs, instrumental groups, dance ensembles, and club performers shared their talents with the community, bringing joyful energy to the festival atmosphere. These performances showcased the dedication, creativity, and confidence that thrive across all divisions at TAS.

Families also enjoyed the Lifestyle Zone and community showcases, which included Girl Scouts USA, Scouts of America, Taipei Taishin Mars, the Taipei Police Department, and The Center. These groups offered hands-on experiences and meaningful opportunities for connection, reinforcing TAS’s commitment to being an engaged, globally minded institution.

A Celebration of Mission and Community

The Fall Fair remains one of TAS’s most cherished traditions because it embodies the values at the heart of our mission. It provides authentic opportunities for students to grow as well-balanced individuals, collaborative communicators, and globally minded contributors, all while celebrating the partnerships that make our community so strong.

Every booth, performance, and activity was made possible by countless hours of effort from PTA volunteers. Their planning, coordination, and on-the-day support shaped the event in big and small ways. The Fall Fair simply would not have happened without their leadership, dedication, and hard work.

Looking Ahead

Thank you to the PTA, parent volunteers, student clubs, faculty, staff, and community partners who made the 2025 Fall Fair such a meaningful celebration of our shared TAS spirit. We are grateful for the creativity, generosity, and collaboration that brought this event to life, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.
