Alumni Return for a Night of Gratitude and Giving at the 2025 Thanksgiving Dinner
On Thursday, November 13, Taipei American School welcomed more than 300 alumni and their families, from the Class of 1962 through 2021, back to campus for the annual Alumni Thanksgiving Dinner. This cherished tradition brought together multiple generations of Tigers and their families to reconnect over a full Thanksgiving feast and celebrate the shared spirit that unites the TAS alumni community.
The evening featured all the elements of a festive holiday celebration: classic Thanksgiving favorites, a photo booth, a lucky draw, and a warm atmosphere filled with laughter and familiar faces. For many, it was a time to reflect on lifelong friendships, reconnect with former classmates, and share the joy of the season with loved ones.
The dinner also marked a moment of heartfelt appreciation for the alumni community’s support of the Every Tiger Makes a Difference: Participation Is PAW-erful giving campaign. Thanks to generous contributions from alumni attending the event, the community recently surpassed the campaign’s original goal of 500 gifts, unlocking a $100,000 USD matching donation to the Tiger Annual Fund from an anonymous donor.

Inspired by this success, the same donor has issued a second challenge: if the TAS community reaches 760 gifts by the holiday break, an additional $50,000 USD will be unlocked. As of this writing, 571 gifts have been received, leaving just 189 to go. Alumni who have not yet participated are encouraged to join this meaningful effort. Those who have already given are invited to share the campaign and inspire others to get involved. Together, we are PAW-erful!

Thank you to all who made the 2025 Alumni Thanksgiving Dinner a night to remember, including our generous sponsors Crafted Beer & Co., owned by Raul Garcia, for their delicious brews, and Amba Hotels for the amazing lucky draw prizes. We truly appreciate their support in making this event memorable!
The Alumni Thanksgiving celebration launched the season of celebration with gratitude, generosity, and community spirit taking center stage. As alumni continue to give back, gather together, and stay connected, they exemplify the enduring spirit of the TAS mission: to engage as thoughtful global citizens and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
