Employee Thanksgiving Returns to TAS
In a spirited event that rejuvenated our sense of community, the entire TAS employee family—faculty, staff, and administrators, their spouses and children, —came together to give thanks and enjoy a delicious, traditional holiday meal.
The celebration began with a lively dance performance by the Human Resources team, joined by other staff members. Dressed in turkey and chicken costumes, they clapped, sang, and strutted their way into the hearts of attendees, setting a festive tone for the evening.
The cafeteria was packed with three double-sided buffet lines, where attendees were treated to a traditional American Thanksgiving feast. The spread included a variety of entrées and side dishes such as turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato casserole, and green bean casserole.
Three carving stations offered specific cuts of turkey and beef, while two dessert stations, brimming with pumpkin pie, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, and more, satisfied everyone's sweet tooth. Throughout the dinner, activities from, karaoke, charades, and organized games kept the crowd entertained.
After their first (and, in some cases, second and third) trips to the buffet, attendees settled into a relaxed session of camaraderie and fellowship, catching up with colleagues while their children played nearby. Old friends and new acquaintances exchanged holiday wishes and shared plans for upcoming trips to visit family and friends. The room was filled with laughter and smiles, as the holiday spirit spread throughout the cafeteria.
We’re grateful to celebrate Thanksgiving at TAS again, and for the warmth and friendship shared as part of this cherished tradition. Special thanks go to the Human Resources team, the caterers, and everyone who helped make the celebration a reality. It was a fantastic start to the holiday season!
