Season of Success: All IASAS Teams Bring Home Medals in Historic First Season
This autumn, the entire TAS community emerged as winners — as competitors in the games, supporters in the stands, and hosts to visiting athletes in their homes. Every Tiger team won a medal, both in Taipei and abroad, while enthusiastic home fans cheered them on, and local families rose to the occasion by hosting visiting IASAS athletes.

Taipei Volleyball and Cross Country:

- Girls' Volleyball: Our girls' volleyball team proved their skill and determination by winning three straight sets in the championship match against the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) Panthers to capture a gold medal. Standout performances earned All-Tournament honors for Sophie L. (’26), Chloe C. (’26), and Rafi L. (’25).
- Boys' Volleyball: In a thrilling rematch against the Singapore American School (SAS) Eagles, our Tigers rode the support of a spirited home crowd to take home the gold by winning their championship match in three sets. Seniors Henry L. (’25), Jonathan W. (’25), and Anderson H. (’25) received All-Tournament recognition for their impressive performances.
In addition to these remarkable team performances, Cross Country Athlete Sasha B. and his family were honored with the Spirit of IASAS award for going above and beyond in hosting visiting athletes, showing exceptional hospitality and support.
In true Tiger spirit, this season saw our school community rise to the occasion to host the largest IASAS event of the year. Tiger families welcomed 180 athletes from IASAS schools into their homes. Ninety host families provided warm accommodations to ensure the visiting athletes felt at home.
We extend heartfelt congratulations to all athletes, coaches, and families for their dedication, determination, and teamwork, which brought home these fantastic results.
