When you choose to support Taipei American School with a donation, you choose to support an institution that puts students first in everything it does. Through your giving, TAS expedites our strategic plan and continues to provide a top tier independent school experience. Your gift, of any amount, is greatly appreciated. When you give a little, you do a lot!

Ways to Give

There are several ways to make a donation. Please read below for details.

Gifts made to TAS are tax-deductible in both the United States and Taiwan. The school is registered as a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue code and is included in the Private School Promotion Foundation (PSPF) under Article 62 of the Taiwan Private School Law.

Tax Deduction in Taiwan

If you wish to claim a gift made to TAS for tax deduction in Taiwan, the contribution must be made directly to the Private School Promotion Foundation (PSPF) and designated specifically to TAS using the required Donor Information Card. Therefore, it is not possible to make a gift online with your credit card if you intend to claim the gift for tax deduction in Taiwan.

Tax Deduction in USA

If you wish to claim a gift made to TAS for tax deduction in the USA, the school is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the USA. We accept VISA, MasterCard, or Amex in this online form. TAS offers a U.S. tax receipt which will be mailed to you.

ACH Payment: IMPORTANT - Please scan and email a copy of your ACH payment to enable us to match a transaction to a donor. We receive NO information from our bank on ACH payments; therefore, we rely on you to inform us of the date and contact information (name and phone number)
