Dear TAS Community,
As part of our ongoing commitment to student safeguarding and responsible technology use, Taipei American School will be extending its internet content filtering controls to the TAS-Guest wireless network.
Effective October 3, 2026, all devices connected to TAS-Guest will be subject to content filtering designed to help restrict access to websites and online content that may be inappropriate in a school environment.
This change aligns TAS-Guest with the school's efforts to provide a safer online experience for students and visitors while on campus. Most educational, business, and general-purpose websites will remain accessible. However, certain categories of content may be blocked in accordance with TAS safeguarding practices.
If you experience access issues with a website that you believe supports legitimate educational or business purposes, please contact the EdTech Department for review.
