For Grades 10-11 Families: Register for the Optional PSAT/NMSQT by Weds., Sept. 16

2026 PSAT/NMSQT Information for Grade 10 & 11 Families

The 2026 PSAT/NMSQT will be offered after school on Monday, October 26, from 4:15–6:30 PM. Participation is optional for students in Grades 10 and 11.

For Grade 10 students, the digital PSAT provides an opportunity to become familiar with the format and experience of the SAT. No specific preparation is required.

For Grade 11 students, the PSAT is also optional and may be of particular interest to students who wish to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Eligibility requirements include taking the PSAT/NMSQT during the student’s third year of high school and meeting the program’s citizenship or residency requirements.

Registration is required. A survey will be sent directly to all Grade 10 and 11 students to indicate their interest and register for the test. Students who wish to participate must complete the survey by Wednesday, September 16.
