PARENT & GUARDIAN EVENT: Selective Admission Practices Presentation for Gr. 11 Families, Thurs., Apr. 11

PARENT & GUARDIAN EVENT: Selective Admission Practices Presentation for Gr. 11 Families, Thurs., Apr. 11

Have you wondered what goes on behind the scenes in the US admissions process? If so, this event is for you!

Mr. Liam McCartney, the Associate Director at Boston University (and our primary admissions reader for BU applicants from TAS), will be coming to TAS to present on holistic admissions at selective American universities using various case studies and explain how admissions officers make decisions. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be part of the conversation and consideration that goes into deciding who gets in and why!

If you are planning to apply to universities in the US, we strongly encourage you to attend this event. Please note: this is a private event that is only available to TAS students and families, so please do not bring non-TAS guests.

To attend, please complete this RSVP form:

Date: Thursday, April 11

Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Location: Harmony Theater

Attendees: TAS students and families ONLY

Register here for the event

Lastly, there will be another program the following week (April 18) for students and families in Grades 9-11, which will include a panel of university admissions officers from the US (both Public and Private universities), UK, and Canada. Stay tuned for more information.

We strongly recommend that you attend both events, so please mark your calendars and save these dates!
