REMINDER: Semester 2 Report Cards Available for Viewing on Tues., Jun. 9 at 2:00 PM

A round of applause to all our TAS upper school students! This semester has been filled with joy, hard work, and new experiences. A heartfelt thank you to the parents and guardians who have supported these wonderful adolescents. We are truly fortunate to work with such kind and talented kids and families. As always, we encourage you to take some time to sit down with your child to review, reflect, and celebrate the semester. As educators, we see the time, energy, and dedication it takes to be a student. At this point, kids may often focus on thoughts like, "I wish I would have..." or "If only I had done more of...". As adults, it’s important for us to listen to their concerns but also to help them recognize all the good that happened over the semester. There is so much to celebrate! Encouraging conversations can help them appreciate their achievements and remind them of how much we have to be thankful for.

As we wrap up Semester 2, we encourage you to carve out some time to sit down with your child to review, reflect, and celebrate their achievements. Being a student requires immense energy, effort, and dedication, and this is a wonderful moment to recognize all their hard work.

It’s natural for students to focus on “I wish I would have…” or “If only I had done more of….” As adults, we play an important role in listening to their worries while also helping them reflect on the many positive moments of the semester. Encouraging conversations that highlight accomplishments and gratitude can help students savor the good and build resilience for the future.
