Upper School End-of-Semester Reminders: Key Dates and Wrap-Up Weeks, May 18–June 4

Upper School End-of-Semester Reminders: Key Dates and Wrap-Up Weeks, May 18–June 4

As we approach the end of the semester, here are a few key reminders to help Upper School students and families plan ahead:

Key Dates and Schedule Highlights

  • May 18: Deadline for all Semester 2 retakes
  • May 19–20: No Assessment Days
  • Starting May 19: Zero Homework Days (no new homework assigned, aside from preparation for final graded work)

Wrap-Up Weeks (May 25–June 3)
Classes begin at 10:45 AM each day, providing flexible morning time for students to prepare for final graded work, meet with teachers, or collaborate with peers.

Students may arrive later or come to campus earlier to study in designated spaces. Once on campus, students are expected to remain for the full day. Buses will run on the normal schedule.

Final Graded Work (May 21–June 3)
Deadlines will be staggered by subject area to help students manage their workload. All work must be completed by June 3. If a student is absent on a due date, a doctor’s note is required.

  • June 3: Exam Make-Up Day (no classes for Upper School students)
  • June 4: Optional attendance for Upper School students; campus closes for students at 11:30 AM

While this is an important academic period, students will also have opportunities for connection and celebration through end-of-year activities.
