Coming on Campus

The procedures listed below are designed to ensure that academic areas are for the exclusive use of students and school employees, except when there is a special event or activity to which a parent has been invited.    

Parents are welcome to visit the school and are allowed in the green areas of the map without invitation. All other areas of the campus require an invitation to a meeting or event or activity, to which the parent may go without an escort. 

During the school day is defined as 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM. The beginning and end of the school day often create congestion in the main entrance of the building, so we ask parents to not enter during these times. Please note that our three divisions have different dismissals times, so the true dismissal time period runs from 14:15 to around 15:45. We ask parents to please try to time your campus visit before or after these two time periods (beginning and end of the school day) so that our teachers and security officers can focus their attention on assisting students. We appreciate your partnership on this.

Parents may access campus in the green indoor and outdoor areas, as shown on the after-school map, from 3:45 to 7:00 PM on school days, and on Saturday, access hours are determined by the program schedule on that day, and access is allowed when activities/events are scheduled. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come and watch and support their students in their events and activities, but they are not allowed personal use of the sport facilities.

• Third-party visitors and guests are permitted on campus at this time, with a limit of 2 guests per parent when attending a TAS sponsored after school event or activity. 
• Third-party visitors and guests include anyone who is not a TAS student or employee, which includes siblings of TAS students who do not attend TAS, alumni, helpers, etc.
