Upper School Library

The Archivists are a student club that partners with the library to create opportunities to foster a reading community at TAS and support the Upper School librarians in making the library an inviting, welcoming space for all.

Besides fun weekly meetings at FLEX, this group has hosted the Human Library, book clubs, trivia games, author events, discussions, book drives and parties in the library. They help decorate, plan programs, find places to donate books in the community and even help out with library tasks like weeding books from the book room. All students are welcome to join this fun and inclusive community.

Resource Loan Periods

• Books: 30 days

• Ebooks and AudioBooks on Sora: 2 weeks

• Renewal: Checked out materials may be renewed as long as there are no holds on them 

• Reference: No checkout

• Overdue: Patrons will be notified of overdue books via weekly email reminders

• Lost books: Materials overdue more than 30 days will be considered lost, and if not returned, the user’s campus ID will incur a replacement fee that includes the price of the item plus US$8.00 to cover library processing and shipping costs. Notices are emailed at the end of each semester to any users with outstanding materials of over 30 days, followed by a two week window to return materials before fees are deducted from campus ID cards.
