SA Internship Program

Art Innovation and Technology - Grades 6, 7 & 8

Course Fee (per two-week session): NT$43,700

Schedule:   Session 1 only:   June 6 - June 17 (8:00 am - 12:00 pm)

The goal of this course is to help students to think like an artist/designer, learn to come up with new ideas, and use the right tool to bring their ideas to life.  In this course, students will learn to create using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, TouchDesigner, Ableton and Sculptris, to work on projects at the intersection of Art and Design. There will be several opportunities for students to work with both analog and digital tools, to transform traditional, physical art forms into digital pieces, and vice versa.  For example, students may make clay figures then use technological tools to turn them into digital objects; or students may first create digital artwork then print them into physical paintings. Projects will involve the use of 3D scanners, 3D printers, vinyl cutters, Laser cutters, Sound, and Paint. Students will be working on theme-based projects in a collaborative setting.
